High accuracy Noise Dosimeter allows a user to measure, capture and calculate sound exposure levels.
REED R8085 Offers
This noise dosimeter has the ability to record sound levels (dB) and sound exposure (dose %) in order to determine an individual's sound exposure over an 8-hour period. The R8085 is a lightweight and compact Dosimeter designed to meet noise survey requirements established by OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and the CCOHS (Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety).

Measure noise exposure with the REED R8085 Noise Dosimeter
Noise dosimeters are specialized sound level meters specifically designed to measure personal noise exposure over time. The REED R8085 Noise Dosimeter allows you to measure, capture and calculate sound exposure levels. The R8085 has a high accuracy of ±1.0dB and is designed to meet noise survey requirements for compliance with OSHA and CCOHS regulations. Criterion level, exchange rate and threshold can also be set and adjusted. Retrieve stored data via USB interface with Windows® compatible software (sold separately).
How To: Calibrate your Sound Level Meter
Calibration is vital in ensuring that your sound level meter is in proper working condition when measuring noise. For the purpose of this video, we'll be using the R8080 Sound Level Meter and the R8090 Sound Level Calibrator. These steps will work for most sound level meters.
