This sound level meter meets IEC Type 2 requirements and offers high accuracy for critical measurements. The R8060 features over/under range indicators for each of the 3 measurement ranges, a digital analog bargraph and the ability to keep track of Min/Max readings.

This sound level meter provides accurate and fast responding triple range. It features a digital analog bargraph, an easy-to-read LCD display, A & C frequency weighting, as well as data hold and min/max hold functions. It is also compatible with the R8090 Sound Level Calibrator (sold separately).
How To: Calibrate your Sound Level Meter
Calibration is vital in ensuring that your sound level meter is in proper working condition when measuring noise. For the purpose of this video, we'll be using the R8080 Sound Level Meter and the R8090 Sound Level Calibrator. These steps will work for most sound level meters.
